Mornings with M2C2

We are off and running with the Mornings with M2C2 series! We kicked off our first session in June with a great discussion on Employee Engagement.

Mornings with M2C2” is a once-a-month opportunity to grab some coffee, interact with other leaders, and get a little professional development!  These sessions will be held on Wednesdays from 7:30-9:00 AM at the Cullman Economic Development Agency training room (dates listed below).

Customer Service by Design

I’m VERY excited to announce a new workshop: Customer Service by Design, that I’ll be leading at the WSCC Workforce Training Center. Check out the course description below, and contact me or Bethany Campbell for more info.

Customer Service by Design – July 31, 8:30 – 11:00 am, WSCC Workforce Training Center (REHAU location)

This workshop introduces Design Thinking – a way for employees to understand and examine daily tasks and projects with a customer-centric perspective. In this interactive workshop, participants will learn new ways to put the CUSTOMER FIRST. Participants will learn how to use the Design Thinking approach (Research, Ideation, Prototyping, Evaluation) to develop products and solutions that are customer-centric, based on research and iterative feedback.

Team Tip of the Month: Daily Check-in

Sharing an idea from one of our workshop participants: Consider incorporating a daily 15-minute check-in or huddle with your team. Use this time to outline the day’s plan, address any obstacles, and ensure everyone is aligned with overall goals. Encourage team members to actively participate by answering three standard questions:

  1. What did you accomplish yesterday?
  2. What are you working on today?
  3. Are there any obstacles in your way?

Bonus points if you come up with a fun name for this quick meetup. Our workshop participant said his team calls it the “chitty-chat” – other names could be: “the daily standup” (keep it quick by not sitting down), or just “the daily.” No matter what you call it, you’ll see the benefits of this quick meeting right away.

Thank you for being a part of the M2C2 Solutions community. We look forward to seeing you at our upcoming events and supporting your journey to success.
